LineageOS is based on the Android Open up Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. How to flash this ROM:
From other custom ROMs (RR-O, LineageOS 14.1, etc):

1. Download the zip file for your variant of the device. Use the table below to figure out which variant to utilize.
2. Make sure this nix file is saved to your device (just to go things done speedily).
3. If y'all desire Google Play functionality, download OpenGApps (link below). (optional)
4. Reboot into TWRP (Book Upwardly + Abode + Power or Advanced Restart).
5. Make a backup (optional).
6. Wipe System, Data, Cache, and Dalvik Cache partitions with Advanced Wipe. (required if upgrading from LOS fourteen.1 or RR-North)
7. Flash the ROM you lot merely downloaded.
8. Flash OpenGApps for Android 8.1 if you want Google services (optional).
9. If you desire root, flash Magisk.
10. Reboot and proceed normally with installation.

From LineageOS fifteen.1 (if yous're updating):

1. Download the nothing file for your variant of the device.

The Exynos variant (ha3g) is bound to gain support before long.
The SM-N900A (AT&T) might never get support due to its locked bootloader. That is unlikely to alter.

Known bugs in hlte version (20180128) (SM-N9005):
NFC doesn't work
Can't select lock screen password, pattern or pivot (if you select 1, phone crashes and y'all have to factory reset)
Can't rotate screen

For now, this is the bugs that I've detected, at least, on my phone.

I accept to say that is a VERY STABLE rom, I've been trying for one mean solar day and I hadn't got much problems, just known bugs. Xposed installed, SIM detected, Magisk installed... very good ROM.

Fantastic ROM for such an early release. Bombardment life is astonishing. few quirks with apps non belongings root, and Bluetooth audio having a hiss on SM-N900W8 nevertheless magical start for such an early on bake!

No result with lockscreen Pivot code...work flawlessly

Im using n9005 hlte, i can set pattern or pivot and it works perfectly. My simply issue ive faced is the distortion in sound when i received a notification. Example when im playing music or videos from youtube so a notification came the notification audio was distorted for a couple of seconds then it will go back to normal.
